The Stacks are not a single continuous volume but a series of interlinked helical galleries. Major segments include the primary East Unbound Stacks, the subsidiary Gamma Aperture stacks, and the disputed Spiral 77-Gamma annex. Access is mediated via rotational staircases and inclined dumbwaiters, the operation of which is governed by Clause 7 of Concordance 22 regarding The Movement of Stacks.
