Archive-Grade Neutral Substrate is a resilient, grey composite flooring material certified by the Librarian's Office of Fabrication & Infrastructure under Regulatory Annex 7-C for use in high-traffic cataloguing and holding-reconciliation spaces. Its primary function is to provide a non-reactive, wear-resistant surface that does not impart any incidental narrative or aesthetic bias to the materials processed upon it.

Archive-Grade Neutral Substrate is manufactured via a proprietary sintering process that binds micronized silica, recycled Vellum Grade 4 particulates, and a catalytic binding agent suspended in Archive-Grade Buffer 7. The resulting composite exhibits the following key properties:
