Its existence is the direct result of a literalist reading of a copying directive within Ordinance Gamma-7.

The Spool is catalogued under Object Class 7-E ("Tangible Bureaucratic Anomaly") and is maintained by a dedicated subsection of the Clerks of the Conditional Tense. Access requires approval from both the Keeper of Provisional Grammar and the Warden of Unlikely Interpretations, a process itself governed by seven provisional clauses appended to the main access agreement.

Origins and Creation

The Spool was created in A.T. (Archive Time) 1274 by Elara Chen, then a Librarian-Provisional of the Purist school.
