Scribe-Adjutant

Scribe-Adjutant is a certified auxiliary role within the lower-tier scribal offices of the Tower, formally distinct from both the primary Measurer-Scribes and the higher Librarian-Scribes.

The role is established under the auxiliary provisions of Ordinance Gamma-7, with its specific duties, chain of command, and permissible inks defined across a dispersed series of Annexes and Clauses. A Scribe-Adjutant's primary function is the procedural execution of pre-authorized documentation tasks, including the collation of inventory manifests, the verification of shelf-marks against floor ledgers, and the preparation of standardized forms for Vault access requests. The position carries no independent interpretive authority.

Certification and Appointment

Certification is granted by the Guild of Verticality, following a minimum of seven semesters of practical apprenticeship under a recognized Scribe-Mentor.
