Their primary field investigation involves the Descent Protocol Delta-7-22, where it is believed a core sequence of the protocol was replaced by a mutually understood silence sometime in the mid-20th century, complicating all subsequent replication attempts. The annex operates from Access Point 22-Delta, though its true administrative center is widely understood to be elsewhere, a fact never openly acknowledged in any Tower directory.
